I thoroughly agree with the point made my Mr Tesch that describing Darfur as like the Nazi Holocaust, campaigners are giving ammunition to the Holocaust deniers. In Darfur today there are dozens of international relief organizations which are doing very professional work and saving the lives of children and adults. There are United Nations peacekeepers too. Did the Jews imprisoned in the Concentration Camps get any medicine from NGOs or protection from peacekeepers? If I was a Holocaust survivor I would take offense at this comparison.

All over the Arab countries, people are watching the double standards of the west on Darfur very closely. One famous pro-Israeli professor went on a lecture tour saying "the problem isn't Palestine, it's Darfur!" Of course the problem is BOTH Palestine AND Darfur. In fact the facts tell us that the situation of the Darfuris in the camps is more like the situation of the Palestinians in Gaza or the West Bank than it is like the Jews in the Concentration Camps. If I was an Israeli I would be worried by this comparison. For as the English say, what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander too.
