About the editors
Jonathan VanAntwerpen is the editor of The Immanent Frame. An SSRC research fellow, program officer for Council projects on Religion and the Public Sphere, and a fellow at the NYU Institute for Public Knowledge, he is currently completing his Ph.D. in the department of sociology at the University of California, Berkeley. He received a BA from Calvin College, and an MA in philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Ruth Braunstein is the assistant editor of The Immanent Frame. A research assistant for both the NYU Institute for Public Knowledge and the SSRC (where she works on projects on Religion and the Public Sphere), she is also a Ph.D. candidate in the department of sociology at New York University (where she is studying political sociology and religion). She received her B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, with a focus on international culture and politics.
