Christian Marazzi
An economist, Christian Marazzi is professor and director of socio-economic research at the Scuola Universitaria della Svizzera Italiana. He has previously worked for the Department of Social Affairs of the Ticino district. He has also taught at the State University of New York, and at the universities of Padova, Lausanne and Geneva.
He is the author of numerous publications on the transformations of work and on the economy of postfordism. His main publications include: Il posto dei calzini: la svolta linguistica dell'economia e i suoi effetti sulla politica (Torino: Bollati Boringhieri, 1999) , E il denaro va: esodo e rivoluzione dei mercati finanziari (Torino: Bollati Boringhieri, 1998), and Capitale & linguaggio: dalla new economy all'economia di guerra (Roma: DeriveApprodi, 2002) soon to be published in the United States. Semiotext(e) has recently reissued Autonomia: Post-Political Politics (2007), that he co-edited with Sylvère Lotringer.
