2009 Dissertation Fellow Jeremy Friedman Briefs State Department on Managing China’s Rise in the Developing World
2009 Dissertatin Fellow Jeremy Friedman gave a briefing to State Department officials in Washington DC on the nature of China’s challenge to the Soviet position in the developing world in the 1960s and 1970s, the Soviet response, and its potential lessons for the US in managing the geopolitical implications of China’s rise.The talk was followed by a lively Q&A session. Dr. Friedman received his PhD in History from Princeton University in 2011 and is the Associate Director of the Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy, International Security Studies, at Yale University.
