Religion and the United Nations: Gender and Peacebuilding

Convened in conjunction with the SSRC's work on religion and international affairs and in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund, the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, and the Interfaith Center of New York, over thirty guests attended the second of a series of panel sessions. Moderated by Jonathan VanAntwerpen, Program Director of the SSRC’s Religion and the Public Sphere program, the panel featured discussants Anne Marie Goetz (UN Women), Katherine Marshall (Georgetown University), Cecile Mazzacurati (UNFPA), Jacqueline Moturi Ogega (Religions for Peace International), and Gay Rosenblum-Kumar (UNDP).
