Undergraduate Education in the U.S.: A conversation with Richard Arum
Richard Arum will discuss the current state of undergraduate learning in the United States, implications for our country’s global economic competiveness and the development of a democratic citizenry, as well as recommendations for addressing this societal problem. He is the lead-author of the recently released Academically Adrift: Limited Learning on College Campuses, a book based on a unique longitudinal study measuring learning outcomes and college experiences of over 3000 college students from 29 institutions across the country.
