Information, Communication and New Media Studies: Networking a Multidisciplinary Field

The SSRC and the Oxford Internet Institute co-hosted a two-day workshop on the changing nature of public life as information and communication technologies (ICTs) increasingly become subjects and tools of research -- both inside and outside the academy. The meeting took stock of 15 years of efforts at institutional reinvention in this area and identified promising approaches for international and multidisciplinary collaboration.
