NK09 Collaborative Grants Workshop

The Necessary Knowledge for a Democratic Public Sphere program of the Social Science Research Council co-hosted a two-day (June 2nd-3rd) gathering of grantees, program partners, scholars and advocates to facilitate discussion on strategies to improve and increase research-advocacy collaborations on media and communications issues. The SSRC workshop was followed June 3rd-6th by Beyond Broadcast 2009: Public Service Media from Local to Global, an event organized by the USC Annenberg School for Communication.
