Cuban Libraries and Archives Committee plans digitization initiative for Cuban 19th century publishing

On January 14, 2011 the Standing Committee on Cuban Libraries and Archives convened in Brooklyn, New York to discuss a cooperative bibliographic and digitization initiative that would bring together the Cuban 19th century published record. This new project builds on more than a decade of collaboration with library and archive institutions in Cuba. In February, the Committee will travel to Havana to meet with specialists at the National Library and the Institute of Literature and Linguistics.
