"African Arguments" is both a publications series (launched with Zed Books and Macmillan in 2005) and a blog (launched in 2009). Short and accessible, the books deal with pressing issues of concern across Africa, combining the highest standards of scholarship with a journalistic presentation. Subjects have included Darfur, the International Criminal Court, war and peace in Burundi, climate change, the politics of HIV/AIDS, U.S. and British policies, and China in Africa.
