Topics:
The SSRC's program on HIV/AIDS supports policy-relevant research and international collaborations on the gender and social dimensions of the HIV/AIDS crisis. Working across academic disciplines and communities of practice, we commission research, provide fellowships, and carry out program evaluations and policy analyses. We work closely with multi- and bilateral partners, private foundations, and research institutions throughout the global north and south. Recent initiatives have focused on the link between AIDS and crisis, on HIV-related sexual violence, and on children in HIV- and AIDS-affected countries.
