With support from the Luce Foundation, and in conjunction with its ongoing work on religion and international affairs, the SSRC's Program on Religion and the Public Sphere has convened a series of interdisciplinary and international workshops on the role of religious actors and institutions in remediating violent conflict and fostering global socioeconomic development.
The Social Science Research Council is an independent, nonprofit international organization founded in 1923. It nurtures new generations of social scientists, fosters innovative research, and mobilizes necessary knowledge on important public issues.
