Work with Economists in Cuba

Fostering new systems in Cuba for distributing goods and services
Over the past decade, a succession of grants from the Christopher Reynolds Foundation has enabled the SSRC to undertake an array of activities designed to expand and deepen intellectual ties between Cuban economists and their counterparts abroad. We provide financial and logistical support to make possible international travel and participation in scholarly meetings; introductions to non-Cuban specialists whose interests coincide with those of Cuban economists; and assistance in projecting the findings of Cuban analysts into both policy circles on the island itself and academic networks outside the country.
