Elise Bergerson

Program Associate,
Conflict Prevention and Peace Forum (CPPF)

Bio

Elise joined CPPF in June 2010. She earned her B.A. in Political Science
from Barnard College, where she graduated summa cum laude and as a
member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. In 2008, Elise worked with the
United Nations High Commisioner for Refugees, beginning her service in
Geneva with the Africa Policy Bureau.  She then embarked on field work
in New Delhi, where she managed a women's protection clinic and
counseled refugees on issues pertaining to security, education, health,
and finance. A native of San Francisco, Elise has studied for a year in
Russia and has additionally traveled independently to over 25 countries.
