Kimberly Greenberg

Program Associate

Bio

Kimberly is thrilled to work with the SSRC team, and support the development of two new programs, a fellowship program dedicated to promoting the next generation of social scientists in Africa and the african peacekeeping network, which supports independent African research on conflict-affected countries and the integration of African knowledge into global policy communities. Kimberly also works on the new "our shared past" collaborative grants program, which encourages new approaches to world history curriculum and curricular content design in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and North America.

Prior to joining the Council, Kimberly served as the Development and Communications Associate and Student Selection Coordinator of Generation Rwanda, an organization that provides university scholarships and leadership training to talented yet vulnerable youth in Rwanda. Kimberly holds a B.A. with honors from Wesleyan University, where she majored in the College of Letters and French studies. As a junior, she co-founded Wesleyan Without Borders, a student organization that worked closely with communities in Mexico and in Peru to realize development projects.
