Ravi Rajakumar joined the SSRC as the senior web developer in February of 2007. He comes to the field of web design and development from a background in both visual arts and science, and has an MFA in visual arts from Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts.
Previous to working at the SSRC, he has been the webmaster for Columbia University's Office of Public Affairs and for the Earth Institute at Columbia. He has also worked at The Rockefeller University and with The Lasker Foundation. He has a long-standing interest in the sciences and in collaborating with scientists to support and communicate their work using new media and new approaches.
