Marking the quadricentennial of Henry Hudson's momentous voyage, Mary-Lea Cox speaks with landscape ecologist Eric Sanderson, author of Mannahatta: A Natural History of New York City. The SSRC, along with the Van Alen Institute, is sponsoring the next phase of Sanderson's work, "Manhattan 2409," envisioning the city's long-term ecological future.
