On behalf of the Conflict Prevention and Peace Forum’s DRC Affinity Group, please find their latest on the ongoing electoral process in the DRC entitled, Organisation des élections en RDC et parachèvement apaisé du cycle électoral 2011-2016: Etat des lieux et perspectives. This paper, which was written with research support from Nick Elebe, DRC Country Manager for OSISA, analyses the various issues and dilemmas that CENI and the Congolese state must confront in the lead up to local, provincial, and presidential elections set to be scheduled during the next two years.
