Congolese Research Network on Peace and Security (ResCongo) – Annual Conference 2019

ResCongo held its second annual conference from 9-10 October 2019, in collaboration with the SSRC’s Understanding Violent Conflict (UVC) program, the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN), Institut Supérieur Pédagogique de Bukavu (ISP-Bukavu), and the Conflict Research Group (CRG) at Ghent University, at Hôtel Beau Lieu in Bukavu. UVC director Dr. Tatiana Carayannis was invited to attend as a member of the advisory committee. ResCongo invited members and interested researchers to submit abstracts, draft papers, and present their work through a call for proposals.
