Access to Knowledge (A2K) Conference

Information Society Project, Yale Law School, New Haven, CT

'Access to Knowledge' describes the challenge of building stronger and more equitable participation in the knowledge economy, ranging from securing access to essential medicines, to expanding access to communications infrastructures, to ensuring a richer public domain in science and culture on which creators can draw. The SSRC was a co-sponsor of the first ISP A2K conference, which explored the linkages, applications, opportunities, and research needs of this nascent movement.
