JSRP Gender Workshop

, 9:30am –

On 8 October 2015, CPPF Deputy Director Tatiana Carayannis and Program Coordinator Mignonne Fowlis participated in a JSRP Gender Workshop at the London School of Economics (LSE). The workshop, which was also supported by LSE's Gender Institute and The Centre for Women, Peace and Security at LSE, brought together researchers across the various consortium to assess the gender dimensions of the findings from the JSRP research sites in DRC, Uganda and South Sudan. Carayannis presented the broad scope of CPPF's on-going work on gender, while Fowlis presented her forthcoming paper examining the impact of community responses to gender-based violence, based on preliminary research conducted during the JSRP field visit to Equateur in January 2015.
