Bio

Wesley Mwatwara is a senior lecturer in the Economic History Department at the University of Zimbabwe, Harare. He holds B.A, B.A (Special Honors) and MA Degrees from the University of Zimbabwe, and a PhD in history from Stellenbosch University, South Africa. His areas of research include socio-environmental history, agrarian history, sustainability, livestock disease management, politics, mobile telephony, and social movements. Some of his articles appear in journals such as the South African Historical Journal, Journal of Southern African Studies, Kronos, Historia, Environment and History.
