Li HongZhou is a PhD student at the School of International Studies in RenMin University of China(RUC) and received his major bachelor's degree in international politics and a double bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology from LanZhou University in China. He received his master's degree in International Relations from the School of International Relations and Diplomacy at Beijing Foreign Studies University. His educational background has propelled his interest in the study of political psychology, an interdisciplinary area, which he believes can contribute a special perspective for peacekeeping and peace building research and literature. He has published several articles in first-level Chinese journals such as the Journal of Contemporary Asia-Pacific Studies and Contemporary International Relations. He will be embarking on fieldwork in Juba, South Sudan for his research project titled, "China's Role and Influences in the Peace-Building Process of South Sudan: Status Assessment and Future Prospects."
His research interests include Chinese diplomacy, Security and Strategies in International Relations, Political Psychology, and Theories of International Relations.
