Claudia J. Kim is a PhD candidate in political science at Boston University. Her research interests include US military bases, military alliances, social movements, and media. She is currently writing her dissertation on anti-US base protests in South Korea and Japan. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in the Pacific Review, Social Science Japan Journal, and the Journal of Contemporary Asia.
