Heather Mellquist Lehto is a PhD candidate in sociocultural anthropology at the University of California at Berkeley. Her work explores technology in religious practice based on field research at Korean multisite churches in South Korea and the United States. Mellquist's work draws on training in anthropology, religious studies (Harvard Divinity School, MTS 2011), and science and technology studies, and her research interests include religion and secularity, technology studies, South Korea, media studies, and economic anthropology.
