Since its founding in 1923, the Social Science Research Council has sponsored more than 15,000 fellowships. The SSRC’s community of fellows, grantees, and affiliates is a diverse group of scholars and practitioners from around the globe, with academic backgrounds across the spectrum of the social sciences and humanities, who are united by a belief in the power of knowledge for the public good.
