Kimberly Tower is a Program Officer for the Media & Democracy program, with a focus on its MediaWell platform. She joined the SSRC after completing her PhD in International Relations and Comparative Politics at American University’s School of International Service, where her research examined trust, national myths, and kebab-based conspiracy theories in France; previously, she has held consulting positions with the World Bank and Amazon, and was a 2021-2022 Fulbright research grantee with the CEVIPOF lab at Sciences Po – Paris. Her work has been featured in Foreign Policy, The Conversation, and Political Research Quarterly.
