Reina Chelberg is the program coordinator for the Abe Fellowship Program at the Social Science Research Council's Tokyo office. She was previously employed as an account executive at SAP Japan, project consultant at APCO Worldwide, lead manager of the flagship event series and public liaison at the United Nations University, and project intern at the Rebuild Japan Initiative Foundation. Chelberg graduated from the University of Tokyo's Graduate School of Public Policy with a master of public policy, and from the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Sophia University with a bachelor of arts. She is fluent in Japanese and English, and learned intermediate French as an exchange student at Institut d'études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and the Universite Catholique de l'Ouest.
