BioKim Habib is Communications Associate. She focuses on graphic design, branding, illustration, and takes part in the creation of audiovisual material for the SSRC. She also assists with the development of e-newsletters and user-experience design of microwebsites. In addition, she provides web strategy support to the communications team.
A dual French-US citizen, Kim graduated from the Institut Français de Presse (Université Panthéon-Assas, Paris) with a Masters of Digital Communications. She holds a LLB (Law) from the University of Essex, England, and has completed a year-long course in Comics and Illustration at a Fine Arts school in Paris. Passionate about both art direction and digital platforms, her Master's degree final project resulted in the creation of the website http://backbn.fr/, focusing on raising awareness of the Internet's environmental impact in an accessible way, while her graduate thesis focused on the adaptation of the comic book industry to digital formats.
Prior to joining the SSRC, Kim worked for a number of comics festivals in Europe, freelanced as a designer and illustrator, and was a part of Sony Music France's digital team.
