    August 17 – 20, 2026 The Social Science Research Council’s (SSRC) African Peacebuilding and Developmental Dynamics (APDD) Program held its 2026 Research Methods Workshop in collaboration with Itumò Institute, in Porto-Novo, Bénin, from August 17 to 20, 2026. The Research Methods Workshop is an annual training workshop designed to help fellows refine their proposals and research designs before conducting their fieldwork and developing their doctoral dissertations and research projects.
