Professor Solingen is a Distinguished Professor and the Thomas T. and Elizabeth C. Tierney Chair in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of California Irvine. The National Academy of Sciences awarded her the 2018 William and Katherine Estes Award recognizing basic research on issues relating to nuclear weapons.
