Social Science Research Council Welcomes New Members to its Board of Directors

The SSRC welcomes two new members to its Board of Directors. Ronnie Chatterji is the Mark Burgess and Lisa Benson-Burgess Distinguished Professor of Business and Public Policy at Duke University, and has served as a senior advisor in the White House and as Chief Economist in the U.S. Department of Commerce. Sherry Glied is Dean of New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and Professor of Public Service, and has served at senior levels in the White House and the Department of Health and Human Services.

New Cohort of Just Tech Fellows

The Social Science Research Council announces the third cohort of Just Tech Fellows. These ten fellows have been chosen to represent a growing network of innovators who prioritize humanity, dignity, and well-being in tech, and will receive unrestricted support for two years to tackle complex issues at the intersection of technology and society.

These sessions imparted valuable lessons on effective research communication.
