Now accepting applications for the 2024-2026 Just Tech Fellows cohort

The Social Science Research Council is pleased to announce that we are seeking applicants for the third cohort of the Just Tech Fellowship. The Just Tech fellowships support diverse cohorts of creators as they imagine and build more just, equitable, and representative technological futures, pursuing innovative technological solutions that advance social, political, and economic rights. Fellows receive two-year awards of $100,000 annually, supplementary funding packages to subsidize additional expenses, and seed funding to work on collaborative projects with other Just Tech Fellows.

Introducing the 2022-2024 Just Tech Fellows

The Just Tech Fellowship, a project of the Social Science Research Council (SSRC), announced its inaugural class of Just Tech Fellows today. These six visionaries—Kim Gallon, Chris Gilliard, Christine Miranda, Clarence Okoh, Meme Styles, and Rua Williams—will each receive two-year fellowships to tackle complex issues at the intersection of tech and social justice.

Launch Event: Just Tech Platform

On March 1, the Social Science Research Council will launch the Just Tech platform, a new website dedicated to mapping research and showcasing scholars and practitioners leading the field of social justice and emergent technology.
