The Abe Fellows Global Forum (Abe Global) brings Abe Fellow research and expertise on pressing issues of global concern to broader audiences. Abe Global hosts events each year in partnership with academic and civic organizations throughout the United States. Abe Global is an initiative of the Abe Fellows Network, the Social Science Research Council, and the Japan Foundation New York.

Abe Fellows Akihiro Ogawa (University of Melbourne), Apichai Shipper (Georgetown University), and chair Allison Alexy (University of Michigan) join James Kan (Citizen Congress Watch, Taiwan) and Thanisara GG Ruangej (Punch Up & WeVis, Thailand) for a discussion of the Asian Parliamentary Transparency Index (APTI), a transnational, evidence-based initiative that empowers civil society to strengthen legislative accountability and safeguard democratic resilience through innovative transparency tools.
