Please join the Social Science Research Council and the Institute for Advanced Study for the 2018 Hirschman Prize Ceremony and Program, honoring Sheila Jasanoff, Pforzheimer Professor of Science and Technology Studies at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. Professor Jasanoff will speak on "Theory, Critique, and Discipline in a Post-Truth Age."

Awarded every two years, the Albert O. Hirschman Prize is the highest honor of the Social Science Research Council. It recognizes excellence in research, theory, and public communication, in the tradition of German-born American economist Albert Hirschman’s pioneering role in social science and public policy.
