Bio

Alaba Favour Ogwumike is a Higher Executive Officer in the Department of Sociology, University of Ibadan. Alaba holds a BA in history from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State (2004) and an MA in peace and conflict studies from the University of Ibadan (2010). She is a research fellow of the Next Generation Social Sciences in in Africa Programs. She is also a member of Women in International Security (WIIS). Currently, she is a PhD student in the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, Institute of Peace and Strategic Studies at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Her research foci encompass conflict resolution, conflict management, and peacebuilding.
