Bio

Dorothea La “Chon” Abraham is associate professor in the Mason School of Business at the College of William and Mary. She is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserve serving as a Cyber Officer assigned to the Pentagon. She is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, has an MBA from Old Dominion University, and a PhD from the University of Georgia. Her research and teaching regards health information systems use in organizations and cyber security risk management. She is a former research fellow at the IBM Center for Healthcare Information Management. Chon received a coveted Fulbright Research Award in 2009 to study health information systems research in the US and Japan. She publishes journal articles and contributes to other scholarly works on these topics as well as serves on a number of editorial boards.
