Bio

Benyin Adah Akande is a 27-year-old Nigerian woman who has a great passion for research and advocacy. She is a lecturer in the Department of Political Science at the University of Uyo, Nigeria, where she teaches and researches on areas pertaining to her research interest. Specifically, her areas of research interest are policy and development studies, environmental studies, and peace and conflict studies. Akande has published academic articles in both local and international journals. Apart from research, she has great interests in interacting and making new friends across national boundaries.
