Bio

Justice Richard Kwabena Owusu Kyei is a lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Social Work at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. He holds a PhD in sociology from the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw. He is also an adjunct fellow in the Centre for Cultural and African Studies, KNUST. Dr. Kyei is a member of the Swiss Sub-Saharan Africa Migration Network and a fellow at Neuchatel University, Switzerland. His research interests include: gender, social theory, migration, political sociology, religion and African studies.
