The SSRC is pleased to welcome two new member institutions to the College and University Fund for the Social Sciences: the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Montana.

The College and University Fund for the Social Sciences is a network of over forty higher education partners that are dedicated to connecting across disciplines and institutions to produce high-impact scholarship, and to expanding the funding infrastructure for social and behavioral science worldwide.

“The College and University Fund network is a key mechanism for leveraging the capacity of the international research community and also for generating the funding necessary to do research at scale—the scale that is needed to confront the most urgent issues facing our world today,” said SSRC president Anna Harvey. “We look forward to welcoming representatives from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Montana to the College and University Fund convening to be held on November 18 in New York City, on the theme of mobilizing social and behavioral science to address society’s most pressing challenges.”
